Frequently Asked Questions

Can I work part-time?

Yes! Part-time hours are certainly an option and are solely dependent upon the number of contracts that you agree to take on.

That said, this isn’t exactly a Monday-through-Friday, 1pm-4pm sort of gig. Agents will need you at random times throughout the work week, so while you may only work 15 hours/week, those hours won't be during a consistent work schedule.

This job is best suited for those who can be reasonably flexible, responsive, and disciplined with their time. We try to respond to agents as soon as possible, usually within 24 hours.

Do you offer training?

We offer extensive systems training on all of the platforms that our team uses (TCWorkflow) and we also offer training on whatever platform your agent(s) use (Paperless Pipeline, Transaction Desk, Dotloop, Skyslope, etc.).

You bring the real estate contract knowledge and experience—and we'll get you up-to-speed on our systems.

Will I be an employee of Revolve?

We work with 1099 independent contractors.

How much will I be paid?

We pay per contract. Each Friday, you'll be paid for whatever contracts closed that week. Revolve will split the transaction fee with you for each contract, meaning if the agent pays Revolve $350/contract, you will be paid $175 the week it closes.

This is important: If a contract terminates for any reason, at any point during a transaction, we do not compensate you for those as we don't charge the agent.

How many contracts will I manage?

Great question! This is completely unique to each and every one of our team members. Once you are fully trained and working contracts on your own, we look for what we call the "wheels fall off" number. For some TCs they can manage 15 contracts really well. For others, 50 contracts is no big deal for them and they can offer that same high-level care that meets our standards. Each TC has their own unique bandwidth and it's something we will work together to determine.

Do you offer PTO and vacation time?

Since we work with 1099 contractors, PTO and vacation time are not offered. However! It is important to us that you take time to rest, relax, and get away—and this is where having a team is awesome.

When you want to take a few days off, chat with someone on the team that also works in your state to arrange for time-off coverage. You two can work out the details (maybe you compensate at $30/file while your away, or maybe you offer vacation coverage for them in return). We do ask that you work ahead on your files before you head to the beach to make the transition seamless for our agents.

 

Stefanie was so helpful when I had any questions as well as keeping me informed of the process, she took care of the transaction seamlessly and helped me navigate the bumps in the road.

Joanna was there every step of the way answering all my questions and walking me through the how to's for my first contract. It was great knowing if I had any questions or concerns no matter big or small I could reach out and receive help.
